What to Wear Wednesday!
This week’s what to wear post we are talking about what I recommend your older child should wear to baby brother/sister’s newborn session! One of the benefits of coming into my studio for your newborn session is you can pack up, leave the house a mess and come relax while I do all the work at the session. I have everything we need for your newborn session aside from an outfit for big brother/sister.
I recommend something simple and white off-white or cream colored. A white polo for boys and jeans are perfect! A simple white sundress for girls!
Don’t stress about shoes, they will be barefoot!

Now if you have a specific color scheme in mind for these sibling images- go for it! Just remember to keep the clothing simple and no distracting patters, a solid color is preferred. A smocked dress is a perfect choice for incorporating some color into sibling images. I’ll either choose a matching wrap or headband to match the kids as seen below…
