Newborn Baby Liam

I must say that if styling a baby boy’s newborn session was up to me, blue and beige would be just what I would choose! After two little girls, when Liam’s parents found out they were having a boy, it seems they agreed! They selected these colors on their questionnaire and I absolutely loved photographing baby Liam and his family!

Newborn Baby R Snuggling With Her Sweet Big Sister

Photographing older siblings with your newborn is often the most coveted images of our session. It’s also the most unpredictable portion of our session because as most parents know, you cannot convince young kids to “perform” in front of the camera. Older kids are often, all-in or not interested in snuggling with their new sibling. Sometimes it doesn’t matter how sweet they are at home with your new baby, at the studio you just never know!
There are a few things you can do before the session to help your toddler “practice” by doing similar poses as below to get your little one used to snuggling with baby while not sitting on your home sofa.

While some toddlers make us work to get images of your kids together, some are excited for their special moment with their new sibling and this gorgeous girl with the latter…

Of course we had to get some beautiful images of this adorable newborn on her own and those images were just as sweet!

Newborn Baby Juliette

Let’s face it, there are a lot of photographers in the Katy area. Which is why, when a client chooses me as their photographer, I know just how lucky I am! I don’t take for granted that my clients chose me over my “competitors”. I hope that it means they came to me because they trust I can give them the final result they are looking for!
I was overjoyed to be photographing this adorable family! Big sister stole the show and was so sweet with her newborn baby sister!

Baby B Newborn Photosession

Baby A Newborn Session – Katy TX

Back again with another sweet newborn baby session to share! Sharing Baby A’s session not only because he was one of the few baby boys I saw in August of last year, but because I want to talk about selecting your colors for your baby’s photos!
After you book a newborn session with me, I will send out a questionnaire. Its very important to send any detailed requests here. The morning of your session, I will look it over and select props based on your requests!
Go ahead and be specific if you have detailed preferences. You can list a favorite pose or prop you want to be sure we get to. You can also be specific in your color requests. You can, of course, simply put ‘blue and green’ OR you can say soft sage green and robin’s egg blue.
I love when my clients let me know exactly what they’re looking for!
No preferences? No problem! It’s also so much fun to try new colors and be creative for those who trust my vision!
