Yet another sweet family back in the newborn studio for baby number two! How lucky to see big sister in her new role and just absolutely adoring hew newborn baby brother!
This adorable baby boy had the best squishy cheeks and slept soundly throughout his entire session. Sometimes the sleepiness is a normal part of the day for these new babes but often times it is because Mom and Dad have carefully followed our prep guide. Once your session date is set, I will send over a prep guide which tells you everything you need to prepare for your newborn session with us. It includes a section on how to prepare your new baby as well! Any bit of effort into this can make your newborn session a successful one! We ask that you encourage awake time the morning of your session. Unswaddle, play baby music to stimulate play time or even give baby a bath. The next step is to feed your baby a full feeding. Think, Thanksgiving-dinner stuffed. Lastly, bring your baby into the studio in his/her car seat. Often, baby will fall asleep on the drive to the photography studio, and we want to encourage that sleep time now by bringing baby in the car seat as to not jostle or wake them.
Overall, a newborn photo session is a collaborative and creative process that aims to capture beautiful and memorable images of your newborn baby. Rest assured, I will work closely with you to ensure that the session is safe, comfortable, and enjoyable for everyone involved.
Heather Armijo Photography owns a studio just outside Houston, in Katy Texas where she has everything needed for your newborn session. We have spent years collecting props, blankets and accessories to make sure we are able to style your session in all your favorite colors. Beautiful bold colors or soft neutrals, we will style your session to fit your vision! Come, relax and let Heather do all the work while she poses and photographs your sweet new baby boy or baby girl.
